Thanks to its secluded location in the midst of unspoilt nature, the Tiefhof is a paradise for families who want to enjoy the peace and quiet and experience a lot at the same time. Discover the animals on our farm, ride our horses and experience exciting overnight stays in the hay. There is also a great playground and a cosy campfire site by the stream where you can spend unforgettable moments together. Family time is very important here!
Discovering the farm animals
There are many animals to discover at the Tiefhof! Our chickens are on the farm all year round and provide fresh eggs every day. Our horses graze near the farm and can also be ridden on request. The dog and cats are also happy to be petted. In spring and autumn you can meet our cows and horses in the forest behind the farm, where they spend a lot of time in nature. They spend the summer months on the mountain pasture.
Romping at the playground
Our self-built nature playground is a paradise for little adventurers and offers a swing, a climbing net and a horizontal bar to let off steam. The playground is located right next to a small stream. Here, children can build dams, chase after self-made boats, explore nature and let their imaginations run wild.
Horse riding
At Tiefhof you have the opportunity to ride our horses. They usually graze near the farm and are available on request. For those who already have some experience and want to enjoy nature from horseback, this is a great opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Simply enquire with us!
Sleeping in the hay
Fancy an unusual overnight adventure? At the Tiefhof you can spend the night in hay! An unforgettable experience that you won't forget anytime soon. Experience the soothing smell of dried hay up close and discover the charm of country life. Bright children's eyes are guaranteed!
Grilling saussages at the campfire
Our barbecue area is a magical place for socialising in the open air! Right next to the playground, on the banks of a small stream, our barbecue area with a simple fire pit, wooden benches and a barbecue grill invites you to linger. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere together while holding marshmallows and stick bread over the fire.
Bad weather programme
Sometimes the weather doesn't play along and the rain makes an appearance. But as the saying goes: ‘There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.’ Especially in the forest, a walk in the rain can be wonderful. And if it does turn out to be an indoor day, there are some fun board games, lots of books and a large box full of Lego blocks at your disposal.
