Our animals
We have around ten happy cows, two playful Haflinger horses, and nearly 50 cheeky chickens – and sometimes even a few squealing piglets! Alongside our larger residents, you’ll also meet our charming farm cats and our loyal dog Nelson. They all make our farm a lively and harmonious place.
The animals are exclusively fed with our organic hay, which grows on the mountain meadows and around the Tiefhof. The size of the livestock is determined by the amount of feed available on our farm. This way, the organic cycle on the farm is harmoniously maintained, and over-fertilization is avoided.
Our farm products
The products from our farm range from fresh eggs and crunchy vegetables from our own garden to flavorful smoked sausages. Sometimes we have plenty, and other times it’s a bit more limited – depending on the season and the needs of our animals. But one thing is for sure: The quality and freshness of our farm products is always noticeable and delicious!
Our animals receive what we harvest, so they grow a bit slower. However, this allows us to pass on to our customers what we eat ourselves, with a clear conscience.
The demand for our products has grown quite large. But we intentionally focus on quality over quantity. Mass production is not our goal and does not align with our philosophy. We take what the farm naturally provides, and this requires patience, as nature cannot be rushed.
